As a behaviourist, I decided to
write a book that would
incorporate a number of
important attractions for readers.
My aim was to target the 8-14-
age range, with whom I have
worked for some time.
My intention was to create
reading matter with both factual
settings and scenarios, but
include the kind of gripping
drama and tension that this age
range tend to like.
I planned my book in such a way
as to covertly develop children's
overall general knowledge based
on the curriculum subject matter
for that age range, and current
political and topical news. I feel
that an honest portrayal of reality
is important, but children should
still be encouraged to feel the
innocence of fantasy.
Book 2 “The Wandering
Waistcoat“has already been
written,and almost ready to publish,
and a third has been
planned, all following the mice
on further adventures.
